    • What is Alpha?

Alpha is an exciting opportunity to explore the validity and relevance of the Christian faith to your life today. It is a practical introduction to the basics of Christianity where you can journey through questions of life, where you will make new friends and where you can ask anything! People come for all different reasons, from different backgrounds, with different opinions, but at Alpha, those differences only add to the conversation and lead to greater understanding!
  • FAQs

    • I’m already a devout Christian, why do I need to come?
      • We can always learn more about our faith and grow in our relationship with Christ, and Alpha is no exception.
    • How does an Alpha session work?
      • An Alpha session lasts 2 hours. You come for a meal, watch a short video, and share your thoughts on the video with your table mates (who you will meet at the first session). During the discussion portion of the session, you can ask your table mates any questions you want. Your session host will ensure the discussion ends on time.

    • How long is the whole alpha course?
      • Alpha will last 15 weeks.

    • Can I just ‘come and see’ for the 1st week?
      • Absolutely! Just be sure to register with us (so we have a spot for you and enough food, too).

    • What if I go for a week or two and don’t want to continue?
      • At any point, if you think Alpha isn't for you, that's not a problem. Your faith journey is your own...we promise not to bug you. There's no pressure, no follow up and no charge, we promise!

    • How much does Alpha cost?
      • Great news! There's no charge for Alpha.

    • Where can I get more information about Alpha?
      • Go to alphausa.org.
